The Hill Stand

For several decades the hill beside Flemington Racecourse provided the citizens of Melbourne with some of the best views of the Melbourne Cup at no cost. 2008 Melbourne Cup tickets for the Banks Enclosure are relatively cheap and racing fans can access the enclosure for just over $100 per day.

The Lawn Stand & Boxes

The Lawn Stand has recently been renovated to provide spectators with an excellent view of the racing. Although much of the stand is uncovered, prices are reasonable. For a little extra tickets are available for the Lawn Stand boxes which provide excellent views of the finishing post and come with private catering facilities.

Tickets for the Lawn Stand range between A$150 for a single day entry to A$170 for entries to two days of Spring Carnival racing.

The Undercroft Stand

If you are concerned about Melbourne’s unpredictable weather, then the Undercroft Stand is for you. Set behind glass and located at the base of the Hill Stand, the Undercroft provides the ultimate comfort to racegoers, whilst also providing close views of the finishing post and racing action.
